Acronym Antonyms
The homes for sale in Bend, Oregon probably aren’t much different than your area. If you own real estate in Bend or elsewhere and are trying to find helpful ways to sell or programs giving you options, I’m sure you’ve experienced the frustrations with the programs being talked about and not implemented. After hearing over and over again about the wonderful new programs and then seeing them in action…well, more like seeing them in inaction, we at movetobend.com thought it would be appropriate to spin these ridiculous acronyms and their failed programs into more enjoyable and accurate real estate terms. Typically, I am not a fan of using sarcasm in certain situations due to its potential detrimental effects…but this isn’t one of those situations. I take helping people with their real estate very seriously and many people have been battered by this market. While most of these programs will not help anyone, the least we could do was bring a smile or perhaps a laugh to the plague created by the banks. Enjoy:)
Quicklist of definitions for housing market help programs:
TARP– Troubled administration rapes public
HAMP– Hopeless Airheads Making Problems
HAFA– Helpless after feds’ aid
MHAPG(Making Home Affordable Program)- Must have assistance passing gas…at least there’s remedies when this comes up
OMGICBTAATTTUTIAH– Oh my God, I can’t believe they are actually trying to tell us this is actually helping (made that one up).
My $.o2- Tell us you’re brutal at loan reform. Tell us you can’t come up with a good solution. Tell us your dog died and you have nothing to say. Just stop telling us how these new programs are helping, and going to help homeowners and people who have already lost their homes. The proof is in the pudding and the frickin’ pudding is not even on the menu.
End of Rant.
